Parker is a long-time player of the game and has had the privilege of competing at the highest level on the Canadian Women’s National Team roster for VNL in 2021. She obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill in Exercise and Sport Science with a minor in Education and, is currently completing her Master’s degree in Sport and Athletic Administration at Gonzaga University. Parker continues to stay involved in the volleyball community in Alberta by coaching in the summers with Team Alberta.
- Parker is a student-athlete alumni at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill where she was awarded All-ACC Freshman her first year and was a four-year letter winner for the Tar Heels.
- Parker helped her team to the first round of the NCAA tournament in 2021.
- Parker was awarded to the ACC All-Academic team all four years of her career at UNC and graduated with honors.
- Parker now continues her playing journey at Gonzaga University in Washington state where she will finish her collegiate volleyball career in December 2024.
- Parker played for Team Alberta as well as youth and junior nation teams while in high school. She has played international volleyball with the senior Canadian National Team and continues pursuing her national team dreams.
- Parker has coached in both Canada and the USA with UNC camps as well as camps in Alberta throughout the years.
- Parker participated in the U23 Pan-American Cup in the summer of 2023 with the U23 Canadian National team and was the team’s scoring leader in aces.
- Parker has aspirations of continuing to work in collegiate sports after her career overseas.
- While in high school Parker played for the Pandas Volleyball Club in Edmonton, AB. In her U18 year, she helped her team to a second-place finish at super nationals and was awarded tournament All-Star.
- During her club career, Parker was awarded provincial All-Star, Best of the West MVP two years, Metro Edmonton MVP, Harry Ainlay High School Female Athlete of the Year, and Mikasa Player of the Year in both her U16 and U18 year.
- Parker has been part of the Canadian Women’s National Team since she was in grade 12 and continues to pursue her dreams of helping the team to the Olympics.
