Ernie has coached with tremendous success at all levels from junior high girls/boys to college women. His teams have won numerous championships at the school and club level. He recently joined the ranks of the Alberta Volleyball Association provincial team staff. Everybody, who has ever had the chance to be coached by Ernie, will confirm that his style and enthusiasm is contagious and he gets exceptional results in player development. Further he had had success by placing 10 players at the post secondary level.

• Alberta Provincial Team Coach U16 & U18(2009 – 2012) -accomplishments: Gold at Western Elite’s 2009 & 2010, Bronze 2011 and 2012 Bronze at U19 NTCC- Highest finishing U18 team in event.
• 90% of student athletes coached in Club and High School by Ernie have gone on to receive post secondary offers to play volleyball
• High school Coach at Western Canada High School in Calgary: 2011 – City Champs and Silver at 4A Provincials, 2012 -City Silver and Bronze 4A Provincials
• Head & Assistant Coach SAIT Trojans Volleyball (2006 – 2009)
• Club coach at the U15 – U18 level, Cal Air, ELITE VB Club, High Performance VB Club, Canada West VB Club, National Champions U16 (2004), Provincial Champion U15 (2008), 2011 CW U17 Div.1 silver Provincials, 4th Place Div. 1 Nationals, 2012 CW U18 Div 1, bronze Provincials.
• Co-Founder of High Performance/ELITE Volleyball Club (2006), as well as founder of Cal Air Women’s Volleyball Club (2002).
• Founder of Summer Touches Volleyball Camp (2002 – 2008)
