Allan began playing volleyball in Edmonton where he attended Holy Trinity High School in the late 80’s. He played on club teams until graduation. After high school he continued to play competitive volleyball for CALVOL, EVA and MWRVS for the next 15 years. Allan has coached and managed volleyball teams at all levels from junior girls in junior high to U18 club volleyball. Allan has been coaching in Alberta since the mid 1990’s. Allan is an enthusiastic coach and his energy is contagious, he focuses on strong development of fundamental skills and then build those skills in individual athletes to enable them to perform at the highest levels. He is currently the head coach of the Senior Women Volleyball team at St. Oscar Romero High School in Edmonton, and head coach of a club U18 women’s team.

• Over the past 10 years, Allan has trained and worked with several athletes who went on to play on team Alberta, as well as others more who competed at the collegiate level.
