Myla has played volleyball as a starting university setter for 4 years and after at a club level for numerous years. She has lead her university team to a championship and in her final year received the team’s MVP award. She has coached at all levels from elementary to high school girls and boys and finally university men. She has been around the Alberta Volleyball scene for many years. The majority of her time has been spent coaching women although she has spent about 5 seasons with varsity men at the high school, club, and university levels. Myla currently teaches at Dr. E. P. Scarlett High School where she has spent two years coaching the senior varsity women’s team.

• Co-Founder of High Performance/ELITE Volleyball Club in Calgary, Alberta (2006-current)
• Club National Championships – finalists – 2005, 2007, 2008
• Club Provincial Champions – 2006
• Club Provincial Finalists – 2010, 2008, 2005
• Assistant Coach University of Calgary Men’s team , Calgary, Alberta – 1985 – 1989
• Canada Games Assistant Coach – 2 years
• High School Varsity Coach for 20 seasons at the 4A level with women’s and men’s teams (numerous city championship gold medals, several provincial appearances, three top two finishes and one provincial Championship team)
• Club Volleyball Coach – Dino men’s program – 5 years – Head coach – Juvenile Tier I ( Juvenile Provincial champions several times and top 5 in nationals)
• Dino Men’s program – Assistant Coach Junior Division – 2 years (one National Championship – Gold)
