Jeremy was born and raised in Calgary until he moved to Brandon to attend Brandon University as a student athlete. Jeremy competed for the Bobcats for 5 seasons and won the Canada West title in his first season as well placed 3rd at CIS Nationals. Throughout his time in Brandon, Jeremy coached various teams with Brandon Volleyball Club (BVC) both as a head coach and assistant coach. He also ran a youth program for athletes under the age of 13 for two years. During this time he spent the majority of his summers training with the national team program as he competed on the Junior, FISU, NEP and National B team. He competed for two seasons professionally in Finland before returning back to Brandon to finish his Bachelor of Education After Degree and assistant coach with the Bobcats. Jeremy taught at an elementary school in Brandon before making the move back home to Calgary where he is looking at continuing his teaching and coaching career.
