Lauren started coaching volleyball as a way to give back to her community and to stay involved in the game after her playing career ended. During that time, she realized she wanted to merge her passion for volleyball and teaching and fulfill a career in coaching. Lauren moved to Grande Prairie to take over the Women’s Volleyball Program at GPRC in July 2019. Prior to her move, she was the Head Coach at UNB Saint John (New Brunswick) for 3 seasons. Lauren has been a part to the Volleyball New Brunswick High Performance Program as both a Head Coach and Assistant coach winning multiple Eastern Elite titles. In 2016, Lauren was selected for the Women in Coaching Apprenticeship Program, which enabled her to be a part of the 2017 Team NB Canada Games Women’s Indoor Team that won bronze. In addition to CCAA and Team NB programs, Lauren has coached at multiple USports, CCAA and NCAA camps and clinics throughout the years.
