Jesse has been playing volleyball for 29 years both competitively and recreationally. After playing at the club, regional, provincial and college levels where she won several provincial championships, she went on to play senior women’s volleyball before deciding to move into coaching. She continues to play indoor and beach recreationally but has enjoyed shifting gears to coach and mentor the next generation of athletes. Coaching has allowed her to continue being involved in the sport she loves and share her passion with others. Coaching a variety of sports over the years, including soccer, lacrosse and volleyball, Jesse believes that sports are an opportunity to learn valuable life skills and lessons. While working full-time as a partner in her accounting firm, Jesse takes every opportunity to coach volleyball and has actively been involved in coaching locally in the club programs from Junior aged athletes through U14 and also coaching junior and senior high school-aged camps.
