At the university level Erik is a 2012-2013 Canada West and USports Libero of the Year, 2008-2009 and 2009-2010 Canada West champion, 2008-2009 USports national champion, 2009-2010 USports bronze medalist. While playing at the professional level Erik was a 2014-2015 German Cup silver medalist, 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 German Championship bronze medalist, 2017-2018 Slovakian Championship silver medalist, 2017-2018 Dutch championship gold medalist. When growing up and playing club volleyball Erik won OVA provincial gold medals at the provincial championships twice in 2007 and 2008 with Toronto Volleyball Club and a Volleyball Canada Bronze medal in 2008. He was the Ken Davies award winner in 2008 recognizing him as the 18U MVP for the OVA. He also was a member of Team Ontario from 2007-2009 highlighted by being named an All Star at the 2008 NTCC’s and a silver medal at the 2009 Canada Games. 

  • Erik is currently an assistant coach with the University of Alberta Golden Bears
  • Lead coach at the Bears Academy serve receive and defensive clinic 2019-2020
  • Coached the 16u Phoenix volleyball women’s club team as well at the 14u boys Phoenix
    volleyball men’s club team in Toronto, Ontario during the 2018-2019 season
  • Coached Phoenix Volleyball Beach camps since 2014
