Diane is passionate about volleyball and helping student athletes feel great and play their best harnessing nutrition as a performance strategy.
Diane is a born and raised Calgarian and played volleyball with the Dinos’ volleyball club as a young athlete. She went on to play for Mount Royal College following high school and then completed her Education degree at the University of Lethbridge with a major in Kinesiology. Diane has coached both boys and girls at the junior high and high school levels in Lethbridge and in Calgary. She has also coached for many years at the club level with LVC, Elite and 403 Selects.
Diane considers herself a holistic coach, placing emphasis on the whole person. She emphasizes hard work, integrity and leadership on the court and challenges her athletes to integrate these skills into their lives.
Diane is also the founder and lead nutritionist with GUTS: Evolving Student Athlete Nutrition where she works with student athletes to help them understand and use nutrition to enhance their performance
